Steven Gaines, Robert Ponzini and Eric Press handle the firm's Criminal Law practice. Together, they have approximately 80 years of Criminal Law experience. Mr. Gaines and Mr. Ponzini both began their careers as Assistant District Attorneys in Westchester County & Bronx County, respectively. Each rose to the level of Senior Assistant District Attorney in Major Offense Bureaus.

Since leaving the DA's office they have continued to practice Criminal Law protecting individuals' legal rights. Eric Press worked with LegalAide for 20 years and recently retired from there to join the firm of Gaines, Gruner, Ponzini & Novick, LLP.
